Hello v.2
I should have known, or realized rather, that I was far to lazy to be updating a website regularly. I think I had a small (but powerful) experience last year -suddenly growing ambitious -thinking I could make a website work. Nah. Its just boring, keeping it up to date and shit. I don't like that part of the whole business. Working in photoshop, yes, trying to make something artistic -making a cover that fits a new track. I can dig that. But all this tedious work in frontpage and making hyperlinks... uh so boring. Not for me. I would have tried to get someone to do it for me, but in these days everyone wants to get paid. Its payday every day. I'm not gonna spend money on a clean and pretty website. I'd rather do it myself and let it look like shit.
It's a catch 22, innit?
Anyways, been doing some stuff lately.
Had a few remixes released, both under new aliases. I'd rather not say which tracks, it's fun not anyone knowing for sure. I just signed two tracks to Outside The Box, managed by Eelke (who has become Oslo Nights resident since the last update). Schnatz is a pretty weird track, atleast for me. I don't think people who has been liking my music will be very into it, as it's a bit wobbly and techy. I had fun writing it tho. Back in the days is a little more recognisable from me. Maybe not that dance friendly, but I think it compliments the package. Will let you know when release date is set. Also working to finish some other new stuff now.
Until next time,
Lars
New alias: The Panty Hoes
I've been working with Espen (Gulbrandsen) for a while now, both as productions partners and DJs. After "Shexy" and "Poetic EP" we decided to try and develop our sound a little. We wanted to include more jazzy elements and combine that with a big-room 80's feel. As we enter 2007, we will try to finish "Granny" and "Flesh Game" as soon as possible, before all the other chores catch up with us again. You can now visit The Panty Hoes at myspace!
Coming Soon: Salmon Twist

My track "Salmon Twist" has a long story. It started out as a project to see how some new VSTs worked, and a few weeks later it ended up being supported by Hernan Cattaneo. Good times. Then I delayed sending it around as I wanted it to be part of my album project. Time passed by, suddenly remembering Presslab having raved about it early on, I later signed it to them. I did a deeper new mix and Espen did a really funky remix as well. Presslaboys and Koldfeet have added additional mixes, making this a spectacular (if I can be honest) package with 5 mixes! Been getting amazing feedback on this one, and it should be out (finally!) in April 2007.

George Delkos - Beat Me/Soul Electronics
will be out
June 23rd on
Caps Lock Rec. Remixes comes courtesy of Neverdogs and Gomez. If
you like tech house, give it a try.

Elusive - Salmon Twist
5 mixes of this deep track will
be out April 9th on
Presslab Records accordings to their website. Two original
mixes, Espen Remix, Koldfeet Remix and Presslaboys Remix. If
deep and trippy beats is your thing, you should check this out.
Support by James Talk, Derek Howell etc.

Upcoming remix on Toes In The Sand:
I have just
finished remixing Matthew Adams new track "No more, anymore!",
which will be out on
Toes In
The Sand later this year, probably the end of May. It is a
very deep, melodic trip, great for radio play I feel. I will
start promoting it from April, you should be able to hear it in
my Oslo
Nights April mix.
